Help Desk & Ticketing Internal IT & Employee Support
ITSM and asset management platform for internal service desks, with a built-in AI Virtual Service Agent in Teams, Slack, WhatsApp and the portal.
Internal IT and multi-department service desks that want ITIL-aligned ITSM with preconfigured AI agents, from $1,499 a year for 5 agents.
You want an AI-first Slack-native helpdesk for a small team, or software for supporting external customers.
InvGate Service Management is an ITIL-aligned service desk for IT and other internal departments, sold alongside InvGate Asset Management. It covers ticketing, a self-service portal, knowledge management, SLAs and OLAs, approvals, a no-code workflow builder, and incident, problem and change management, with unlimited end users and approvers on every plan. The AI arrives through InvGate AI Hub, which bundles more than 20 capabilities: AI-improved responses, ticket summarization, knowledge article generation, sentiment analysis, estimated time to resolution, and major incident and common problem detection.
The distinctive choice is that InvGate does not hand you an agent builder. Its AI Hub page argues against the blank-canvas approach and instead ships purpose-built agents scoped to one job each: an SLA Guardian that flags tickets at risk of breach, an Intelligent Triage agent that classifies new tickets, a Smart Assignment agent, and a Change Risk agent that scores change requests against history. The front door is the Virtual Service Agent, which InvGate says needs zero setup: it connects to your existing knowledge base and past ticket history, answers employees in Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Slack or the self-service portal, and routes with context when it cannot resolve. A Knowledge Discovery feature turns closed tickets into governed knowledge snippets that feed those answers, and MCP access to service desk data is in research preview.
Ariel Gesto founded InvGate in Buenos Aires in 2009 after running IT operations at a media company; the first product was the asset tool, and the name is short for Inventory Gateway. In July 2023 it raised a $35 million growth round led by Riverwood Capital, with Endeavor Catalyst participating, its first institutional funding. The company reports more than 1,400 clients in over 70 countries and was named a 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Customers' Choice for ITSM. Named customers include Peoples Bank, which aligned 24 departments on the platform, plus Farmacity, Harmony Public Schools and Smartmatic. Its security claims are SOC 2 Type 1 and GDPR, and on-premise hosting is offered on Enterprise.
Pricing is published as list price. Starter is $1,499 a year flat for 5 agents and already includes the AI Hub, SSO and unlimited end users. Pro is $500 per agent per year, starting at $2,500 for 5 to 50 agents, and is where the Virtual Service Agent, the workflow builder and the Teams and WhatsApp integrations live. Enterprise starts at $12,000 a year and adds on-premise hosting, multiple SAML providers and data residency options. A 30-day trial needs no credit card. Choose InvGate if you run an internal IT or multi-department service desk and want conventional ITSM with sensible, preconfigured AI at a price well below the big suites. Skip it if you want an AI-first, Slack-native helpdesk for a small team, or customer-facing support software, which this is not.
