Atomicwork calls itself an AI Workforce platform for IT: agentic ITSM and ESM that lets a company deploy, govern and scale what it calls AI Coworkers alongside its people. Underneath the branding it is a service management platform with incident management, IT automation, access provisioning and employee onboarding, fronted by a Universal AI Coworker named Atom that handles password resets, software access requests and application support. It works over chat, voice and vision in more than 25 languages, and the pitch is explicitly about finishing work rather than answering questions: "Resolutions, not just answers."

In Slack, employees raise requests from a public channel or by DM, with one-click service requests for catalog items. Atom fetches the right service form based on what the employee asked for, so requests are raised and tracked without anyone leaving Slack or Teams, and it posts status updates back to the same place. Two behaviours stand out. Atom can act on frequent IT issues and return a solution with no human in the loop, and it detects multiple intents in a single conversation and splits them into separate requests, which is the realistic case when someone types one message about three problems. It also updates its own knowledge by learning from public conversations in the channels you point it at.

Vijay Rayapati, Kiran Darisi and Parsuram Vijayasankar founded the company in 2022, based in Palo Alto. It raised an $11 million seed in 2023 led by Blume Ventures and Matrix Partners India, then a $25 million Series A in January 2025 led by Khosla Ventures and Z47 with Battery Ventures, Blume and Peak XV participating, taking the total to roughly $40 million. Zuora reports a 50 percent reduction in ticket volume and Pepper Money a 75 percent reduction in mean time to resolution; Abzena and Ammex also appear as customers. The platform carries SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, CSA STAR and ISO 42001 certifications.

Pricing is unusually transparent for this category, and unusually large. The Professional plan starts at $25,000 a year and includes 25,000 credits, 2 AI Coworkers, up to 250 end users, 500 managed devices and 50 applications; Business and Enterprise are sized by quote. There is also an outcome-based option, at $1 per knowledge support outcome, $2 per access automation outcome and from $3 per service resolution, each with an annual minimum. If you already run ServiceNow or Jira Service Management, Atomicwork will sit on top with no platform fee and charge only for what gets done. Choose it if you want agentic IT support with real governance and are buying at mid-market scale or above. Skip it if a $25,000 floor is more than the problem is worth.
