AI Agents & Chatbots B2B & Technical Support Help Desk & Ticketing
AI-native help desk for software teams whose Kai agents answer customers, investigate bug reports and open pull requests for engineers.
Software and app companies that want a help desk where an AI agent answers first and bug reports flow through investigation to a reviewed pull request, from $29 a month.
You run e-commerce or another non-software business, where the bug-to-fix workflow that justifies Gleap does not apply.
Gleap is a help desk built specifically for software companies, and its pitch is "support that ships fixes." It bundles a shared inbox, live chat for web and mobile apps, a help center, in-app bug reporting with console logs and session replay, a public roadmap, release notes and surveys. The AI layer is a set of agents under the Kai name. Kai Support is the first line: it answers from your website, docs, files, Notion pages and code repositories, cites its sources, and hands anything it cannot answer to a person with the thread attached. It runs on the chat widget on every plan and on email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Slack and Telegram from the Team plan up, and Kai Voice answers phone calls on Pro.
The part worth understanding is what happens after first line. Kai Resolve investigates hard tickets using the screen recording, logs, account data and read-only access to your code, then prepares a coding task when it finds a likely bug. Kai Code turns that task into a pull request (on your own Claude Code, Codex or Cursor subscription or in Gleap's cloud), and Kai PM ranks feature requests against customer demand and revenue. Gleap is explicit about the guardrails: Kai Code never merges or deploys, your engineers review and release, and by default a teammate confirms the fix is live before Gleap updates the customer on the original ticket.
Gleap GmbH is based in Schwarzach, Austria, and says more than 4,500 teams use it; it does not publish a founding year. Gather reports response times falling from about 30 minutes to about five after moving support to Gleap, Lywand says its AI support and knowledge base handle about half of all inquiries, and Commonplace says Kai Support handles 50 to 60 percent of inbound support. The company is SOC 2 Type II audited and GDPR compliant, with EU or US hosting chosen at signup, and imports tickets from Intercom, Zendesk and Freshdesk.
Starter is $29 a month billed yearly ($35 monthly) for one seat with live chat, bug reporting and Kai Support; Team is $149 a month billed yearly with unlimited seats, every channel and the full agent team; Pro at $299 adds Kai Voice, model choice and advanced reports; Enterprise starts at $999. On top of the plan, Kai Support costs $0.29 per resolution (counted only when the customer did not ask for a human within 72 hours), while the engineering agents bill by tokens, about $0.49 per investigation on average. The 7-day trial needs a card; there is no free plan. Choose Gleap if you sell software, a large share of your tickets are really bugs, and you want support, bug reports and the roadmap in one tool your engineers will also use. Skip it if you are not a software company, since the bug-to-pull-request loop is most of the reason to pick it.
