AI Agents & Chatbots Help Desk & Ticketing Internal IT & Employee Support
Agentic service desk for IT, HR and ops that turns Slack and Microsoft Teams messages into tickets and resolves them with AI agents and workflows.
Mid-market companies whose employees already ask IT, HR and ops for help in Slack or Teams and want AI agents and workflow automation in those channels.
You need full ITIL processes like change and problem management or a CMDB, or want published pricing before a sales conversation.
Ravenna is an AI service desk for internal teams (IT, HR, operations, finance, legal and RevOps) that lives inside Slack and Microsoft Teams instead of a separate portal. You connect the channels where people already ask for help, messages become tickets, and a private triage channel mirrors every request for the responders. Around that sit the usual service desk pieces: categories, forms, statuses, assignees, approvals, task lists, SLAs and CSAT on every request. Ravenna's AI agents classify each request's intent, ask clarifying questions, present AI-filled forms in the conversation, answer from your knowledge base, and trigger workflows when the request needs action rather than an answer.
You configure an agent from a few documented parts: knowledge (imported from Confluence, Notion, Google Drive, Guru, Coda, SharePoint, GitHub or Freshservice), skills written as natural-language instructions, tools it may use, a personality setting for tone and length, employee context, and memory across multi-turn conversations. Agents can also generate knowledge from resolved Slack threads, which addresses the usual problem of the answer living in someone's DMs. For anything with consequences, Ravenna's position is that enterprise AI needs deterministic workflows, built on a visual canvas, for software access requests, onboarding and offboarding, and hardware issues. It connects to Okta, Entra, Google Workspace, JumpCloud and OneLogin for identity; ADP, BambooHR, HiBob, Rippling, UKG and Workday for HR data; and Jamf, Intune, Fleet and Iru for devices. A CoPilot assistant helps the support team itself, and the docs' day-one track says an empty account becomes a working AI service desk in Slack in roughly two hours.
Ravenna is based in Seattle. GeekWire reported in April 2025 that it had raised $15 million from Khosla Ventures, Madrona and Founders' Co-op, with angels including Zapier's founders and Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch. Co-founders Taylor Halliday, previously director of engineering and AI at Zapier, and Kevin Coleman, who spent four years leading go-to-market teams at AWS, started it the year before; they had earlier run the consultancy Mesh Studio and gone through Y Combinator in 2016. Early design partners included Zapier, Homebase and Futureverse, and the company targets mid-market firms. The site lists SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR.
Ravenna publishes no pricing; access is through a demo or info request. Choose Ravenna if your employees already ask for help in Slack or Teams and you want ticketing, AI answers and access automation there without adopting a heavyweight ITSM. Skip it if you need ITIL change and problem management or a CMDB, or need to see a price before talking to sales.
