About Kore.ai

Kore.ai is an enterprise platform for building and orchestrating AI agents, with customer experience as one of its flagship uses. Teams design agents using no-code visual tools or pro-code SDKs, deploy them across web chat, messaging, voice, and contact-center channels, and manage them with the security and analytics a large organization demands. Its agentic contact-center suite spans intelligent self-service, AI-powered routing, and real-time agent assist, and a growing set of prebuilt vertical apps for banking, healthcare, retail, HR, and IT gives buyers a running start instead of a blank canvas.

The scale here is the headline. Kore.ai says its platform automates more than a billion interactions a year and has delivered over a billion dollars in cumulative customer cost savings, and it has been named a leader in independent analyst evaluations of conversational AI and cognitive search. Its newer generative application platform, GALE, and an AI-first agent platform push the product deeper into the agentic era.

There is a nice against-the-grain story to the company, too. Kore.ai was founded in 2014 by serial entrepreneur Raj Koneru, whose resume includes four earlier companies, and it grew up not in Silicon Valley but in Orlando, Florida, only later opening a West Coast office. It has raised well over four hundred million dollars across its rounds, including a 2026 growth investment, and became a launch partner for Microsoft's agent ecosystem while earning agentic credentials with AWS.

Big names like AT&T, Coca-Cola, and Airbus are among the hundreds of Global 2000 enterprises it serves, and pricing is entirely custom, scaled to the sessions, seats, and add-ons a given deployment needs. For large organizations that want a single, proven platform to build and run both customer-facing and employee-facing agents across every channel, without stitching together half a dozen point tools, Kore.ai is a serious heavyweight worth putting on the shortlist and taking for a proper test drive.

About Moveworks

Moveworks is an AI assistant platform for an entire workforce, built to search and act across the business applications employees already use. An agentic reasoning engine decides what a request actually needs, a marketplace ships more than 1,000 prebuilt agents, and enterprise search reaches across 50 or more systems including OneDrive, SharePoint, Confluence and Outlook. Agent Studio is the low-code builder for teams that want their own agents, and the assistant answers in more than 100 languages across chat, web, mobile and portals.

The Slack behaviour is the part worth understanding, because it is more aggressive than most. Any employee can DM the assistant directly, but Moveworks also puts a bot in the public IT channel, a feature it calls Channel Resolver. It reads every message posted there, and when it predicts it can remediate the issue it steps in: it DMs the employee to resolve the problem, then updates the channel so the answer is visible to everyone. Moveworks describes the resolvable set as software provisioning, account unlocks, installation instructions and the guest WiFi password, which is to say the bulk of what an ask-IT channel actually receives. The same assistant runs in Microsoft Teams, and since a January 2025 expansion of the Microsoft alliance it is also reachable as an agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Bhavin Shah, Vaibhav Nivargi, Varun Singh and Jiang Chen founded the company in 2016, and it raised more than $300 million from investors including Tiger Global and Kleiner Perkins. On March 10, 2025 ServiceNow agreed to buy it for $2.85 billion in cash and stock, the largest acquisition in ServiceNow's history, and the deal has since closed. Moveworks says more than 350 large enterprises and over 5 million employees use it, including 10 percent of the Fortune 500. Named customers include CVS Health, Toyota North America, BambooHR, Instacart, Coca-Cola Consolidated, AkzoNobel, Procore and Micron.

Pricing is not published anywhere on the site: this is an enterprise sale with a quote at the end of it. Choose Moveworks if you are a large enterprise with a busy ask-IT channel and you want an assistant that resolves in the channel rather than deflecting to a portal, and doubly so if you are already a ServiceNow shop. Skip it if you are under a few thousand employees, where the deployment effort and the contract size will both outrun the problem you are solving.
